History: Gargax hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gargax alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She found a children's book about a Halfling Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story.
