History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Flame grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the east were limited. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her brown hair is greasy and uncared for. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Pearl's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Pearl enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
