His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the west to a Sellsword, Carrie learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Carrie has worked very hard to control his curse. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Description: He has the majority of his body covered in plate, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 2'10" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is lengthy. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Burto lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
