Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to end his boredom

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He dresses well, wearing grey shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Marigold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
