History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Architect, but he got bored and became a Cook. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
