History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Quelenna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Târz took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland.
