History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Numba liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He bought a sickle and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pallabar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pallabar. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and many brigands want him driven away
