Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Gnome Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Oppleby never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Dain will drive conversation. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is greedy

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and halfling compassion

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
