History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents enrolled her in a Commoner school at a young age so that she could practice her druidic talents. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Wiggan and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a rival would like him out of the picture
