History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: The child of a Unemployed, who enjoyed hunting, Emmeline was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Simon hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Simon alone in the world.
