History: Born in the north to a Detective, Merla learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Detective for the past few years.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Millicent hails from a village terrorized by giants. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Priest for hire.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears skinny pants and wears a violet and pastel robe with the hood down. His tied-back hair is red. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many giants want him driven away

Description: This slender woman stands about 3'3". She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. Her tied-back hair is red. Her amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At some point she was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and to reunite with her old friends
