History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: She is a pot bellied western woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her hair is purple and very short. Her eyes are white and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Verin was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Verin's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Verin and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has money and likes to spend it
