Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty red coat over it. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Gormogord is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Gormogord lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around her ears. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Valanthe's homeland. Valanthe decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valanthe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

Description: She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. Her skin is flawless and her amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sybil lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.
