Description: He dresses like a well dressed Mortician does. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Mortician. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Mortician.

Description: An older man who wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, he is not a threatening figure. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His ears are large.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses well, wearing green shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His crest, while still mostly blue, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise gold. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose pastel pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He sports a flattop fur cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Shifting is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
