History: The child of a Jeweler, who enjoyed hunting, River was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. River took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor she uses now. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
