History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Stableman. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: This dark-skinned female wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. She struck the Carpenter job and began her own company from there.
