Description: She wears an entirely white suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her long silver hair reaches down to her waist. Her half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Dilettante but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Merla was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Description: She likes to wear ponchos typically of a light black in addition to tight pants. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her lance, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. She has brass crest. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and to unite with her brother

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. She has no hair. Her eyes are black and catlike.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Halflings. Her skin is dark but she possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. She wears a white tunic with black highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around her shoes. She has slicked back black hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Shepherd business.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Being a Shepherd kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
