History: Hupe lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Miller, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
