History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She now owns her own business.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Carrie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
