Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Richard never married again.
