History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Priest for the past few years.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: This western woman is abnormally tall. She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She has wavy red hair. Her amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She comes from a rich western family. When Jacoba reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jacoba fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
