Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for her, and Cecily does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She got into the Dyer business at a young age. Her childhood dream was to be a Engraver, but she was a colossal failure. She tends to her Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she feels kind of lost in life

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Locksmith for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Mayor again; and expand her business
