History: Ovina hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born in the west. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his greataxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
