History: Art was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mugrunden was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gillyd was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
