When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Shivering never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gifted student she started as a Dyer, but she got bored and became a Mason. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
