History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Hugolina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hugolina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Tanner for the past few years.

Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Marigold never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
