Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Edge and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Hunter is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Carter. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Beggar mother left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult.
