She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a long history of fighting, Furrele and her spouse have recently divorced.

Through the years after Drifting was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Drifting's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's also a talented Masseuse, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
