A true patriot, Frederick would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When Frederick reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ermina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against giants; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
