He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her auburn hair is braided into rings. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Xanaphia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Sailor, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Many goblins want her driven away; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Being a Miner kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
