History: Bharash hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Sarah reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
