Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Modean does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. A gifted student she started as a Servant, but she got bored and became a Engraver. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
