Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gurdis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to reunite with her absent father

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a spear, but if one is not available she will default to her halberd. Her hair is short and dark red. Her white eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

History: She was born in the north. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
