History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He married young, but lost his spouse to drow. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Description: This eastern woman is abnormally tall. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She has wavy red hair. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are hazel.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and to reunite with her absent father

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
