History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Makaria alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This malnourished woman tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her eyes are gray and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Emmeline was born the youngest of three triplets. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
