History: Arnold hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. She worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Cook. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She was born in a small island village. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.

Motivation: To be a Dyer again; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: This woman wears a red vest and prefers green and blue shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her white hair is braided into rings. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nora was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.
