Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. History: Born in the north to a Sculptor, Portia learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has worked as a Sculptor like her father before her.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Performer, but he got bored and became a Sailor. He struck the Sailor job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: Thomas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: She wears silk and lounges about seductively. Her hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are black and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She got into the Dilettante business at a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
