Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for him, and Manfred does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Melissa hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and seeks redemption

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Marshal kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
