History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Pearl never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He was born in the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naill fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
