She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now owns her own business.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She has styled her brown hair well, parting it to the left. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Spice Merchant born in the past three hundred years. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. Her auburn hair is well kept. She has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
