He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new junk dealer responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Locksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Locksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Locksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He usually wears his brown robe and has his rapier always slung over his shoulder. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rurik embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. After a long history of fighting, Rurik and his spouse have recently divorced.
