History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shifting. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she is content

Description: She is an average looking northern female in her early mid-life. She is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, green shirt, and tan tie. Her long black fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact
