History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fisher, and he later adopted a second son.

He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
