After coming to the age of reason, Arava took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town.
