History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her youth she was a Fisher, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. After a long history of fighting, Enidda and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Willow was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and many giants want him driven away
