History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a brown coat. Her chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Giselle speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and revenge

Description: A 5'2" northern man, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His red hair is long and unkept. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. A true patriot, Paelias would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Through the years after Paelias was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Paelias's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Paelias and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.
