Description: 3'2" and muscular, this northern man is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing tan cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He takes great joy in being the best Stableman in town.

History: Born in the north to a Stableman, Qualen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Nicor was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nicor's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
