History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melech grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melech grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melech. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
