Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She carries with her a set of glaives, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her black hair is unkempt and raggedy. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Mara was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Mara was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mara decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To be a Scribe again; and balancing her hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult

Description: This slender man stands about 5'9". He wears a fancy grey suit. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. He has green eyes.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roger does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge
