His brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his green boots flare out at the collars and is in decent physical shape. His red crest is heavily combed to the right. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shamash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born in the north. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

She carries with her a set of falchions, each one with a topaz on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She has done her best to style her chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. She is baby faced.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gimgen studied abroad. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After months of barely getting by, Gimgen managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
